Review Guidelines & Community Policy
To keep Trust.com.pk trustworthy and legally safe for everyone, every review must follow these rules. Reviews that break them will be removed and accounts may be banned.
DO:
- Review only a business you have genuinely dealt with / visited / used
- Be honest, specific, and fair — mention what actually happened, when, and what was good/bad
- Keep it respectful, even if your experience was negative
- Disclose any connection: if you work there, own it, or were incentivised
DO NOT:
- Post a fake review — for a business you never used
- Post for a competitor, or pay / accept payment for a review without disclosure
- Make false statements of fact, exaggerate to harm a business, or use defamatory language
- Post personal data, private photos, threats, abuse, hate speech, or obscene content
- Post the same review multiple times, or create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings
- Post spam, ads, links, or promotional content in a review
How ratings work: Ratings are an average of user opinions. They are not verified, certified, or endorsed by Trust.com.pk.
Moderation: We may remove reviews that violate these guidelines, with or without notice. Businesses may respond publicly to any review. Users and businesses may report any review via the Report button.
Consequence: Posting a false or defamatory review can expose you, the reviewer, to legal action by the affected business under Pakistani defamation and cybercrime laws (PECA). Trust.com.pk may be required to share your account/IP records with a court or authority in such a case.
