Welcome to Trust.com.pk ("Platform", "we", "us", "our"), operated by Trust.com.pk at https://trust.com.pk.
By accessing or using this Platform, creating an account, listing a business, or posting a review, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Nature of the Platform — Neutral Intermediary
Trust.com.pk is an online directory and user-review platform. We provide a neutral, technical platform where users can list businesses and share opinions and experiences.
We are not the author, publisher, or endorser of user-submitted listings, reviews, ratings, comments, photos, or other user content ("User Content"). All User Content reflects the sole views and responsibility of the person who posted it.
We do not verify, guarantee, or confirm the accuracy, truthfulness, completeness, or legality of any business listing or review.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be 18 years or older to create an account or post a review. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login details confidential. You must provide accurate information and update it when it changes.
3. Business Listings
a) Anyone may submit a business listing with information that is, to their knowledge, accurate and lawfully available.
b) Listing a business on the Platform does not mean the business is affiliated with, endorsed by, verified by, or in partnership with Trust.com.pk, unless we explicitly mark it as "Verified / Claimed" after verification.
c) Business information may be sourced from users, business owners, or publicly available sources. If you are a business owner and your listing is incorrect, you may claim your listing or contact us at trust.com.pk@gmail.com to request a correction.
d) We may edit, reformat, or remove listings at our sole discretion to maintain quality, accuracy, or legal compliance.
4. Reviews & User Content — Your Responsibility
This is the most important clause. By posting any content, you agree that:
a) You are solely and fully legally responsible for the content you post, including any review, rating, comment, photo, or listing information. This responsibility includes liability under the Defamation Ordinance, 2002, the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 (PECA), and other applicable laws of Pakistan.
b) Your review is based on your genuine, first-hand personal experience with that business. You have not been paid, incentivised, or instructed by a competitor to post it, unless you clearly disclose that fact.
c) You will not post content that:
- Is false, misleading, fabricated, or made without personal experience ("fake review")
- Is defamatory, libellous, or injurious to the reputation of any person or business
- You know to be untrue, or you post recklessly without caring whether it is true or false
- Is posted for a competitor, by an owner/employee for their own business without disclosure, or in exchange for payment / free goods without disclosure
- Contains personal data of others (phone numbers, home addresses, CNIC, private photos) without consent
- Is abusive, hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene, or discriminatory
- Infringes any intellectual property, trademark, or copyright
- Contains spam, advertising, affiliate links, malware, or illegal content
- Violates any law of Pakistan
d) You grant Trust.com.pk a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable licence to host, display, reproduce, distribute, and moderate your User Content for operating and promoting the Platform.
e) You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trust.com.pk, its owner, team, and affiliates from any claim, loss, damages, legal fees, or liability arising from content you posted or your breach of these Terms.
5. Moderation — Our Rights
We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor, review, edit, hide, refuse, or permanently remove any listing, review, or User Content at any time, without prior notice, if we believe it violates these Terms, our Review Guidelines, or applicable law, or upon receiving a valid complaint.
Removal or non-removal of any content does not mean we adopt or endorse that content.
We may suspend or terminate accounts of users who post fake, defamatory, abusive, or repeated violating content.
6. Business Owner Rights — Response, Claim & Report
If you own or represent a business listed on the Platform:
a) You may claim your listing, correct factual information, and post a public response to any review.
b) You may report a review/listing using the Report button or via trust.com.pk@gmail.com if you believe it is fake, defamatory, or violates our policies. See our Takedown Policy at /takedown-policy.
c) You agree not to post fake positive reviews for your own business, pay for reviews, or post negative reviews for competitors. Doing so may lead to a warning label on your listing, removal, and account termination.
d) A negative review, by itself, is not grounds for removal if it reflects a user's genuine opinion/experience and does not violate our policies.
7. No Endorsement & No Guarantee
Ratings, reviews, rankings, and listings do not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification, or guarantee by Trust.com.pk about any business's quality, safety, legality, or services. Users should make their own independent enquiries before transacting with any listed business. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any transaction or dispute between a user and a listed business.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
a) The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
b) Trust.com.pk shall not be liable for any User Content, including any allegedly defamatory, false, or offensive review/listing posted by a user, nor for any loss, reputational harm, business loss, or damages arising from reliance on listings/reviews or from transactions with listed businesses.
c) Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed PKR 10,000 or the amount you paid us in the last 3 months, whichever is lower.
d) Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited under Pakistani law.
9. Complaints, Takedown & Legal Notices
We operate a notice-and-takedown process. If you believe content on the Platform infringes your rights, is defamatory, or is unlawful, follow the process on /takedown-policy or email trust.com.pk@gmail.com with: your full name, contact, URL of the content, exact statement complained of, why it is unlawful/false, and supporting evidence. We will review valid complaints promptly and act in accordance with applicable law, including court orders and directions from competent authorities / the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
Anonymous or incomplete complaints may not be acted upon.
10. Intellectual Property
The Platform design, logo, code, and our own content belong to Trust.com.pk. Do not copy, scrape, or use automated tools to extract listings/reviews without written permission. If you believe your copyright/trademark is infringed by User Content, notify us under Section 9.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy at /privacy.
12. Changes, Governing Law & Jurisdiction
We may update these Terms at any time; the updated version will be posted on this page. Continued use means acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
